So, Juvenille, Lucy Pearl, and Sprung Monkey were supposed
to play a free concert last night. Due to the bunkness that is UCSD,
Juvenille didn’t show up, so nobody wanted to go. Kill ’em all.

Done with the latest midterm, I’ve decided to try to work
on a hydroponics bay to grow potatoes or something like that in my appartment.
However, the lack of job right now coupled with the low cash reserves
is going to put this project on indefinite hold.

Went to Disneyland and California Adventure over the weekend,
will write more soon. However, now for the quote of the day: “The California
crunch really is the result of not enough power-generating plants and
then not enough power to power the power of generating plants.”— George
W. Bush, in an interview with the New York Times, Jan. 14, 2001

Nothing new to speak of. I put links on matchAndGo
so you can view the source code to the pages that run the site. It should
be a pretty helpful to anybody wanting to see how a full working ASP/SQL
site works.

2.11.2001: Splorg's RC5-64 Server
I went to my parent’s place for the weekend and relaxed. My sister had
her high school’s MUN conference,
where I helped as an errand boy and gave guest speeches. Ah, the days
of high school. How grand they were. As a token of high school days,
here’s a picture of when Splorg
used to run a distributed.net
key server.

2.9.2001: John and Arthur at the now-bankrupt Orconet just finished the two weeks from hell. 3 midterms! At least it’s all
done now, and I’ve got some time to get back to my page. I’ve been selected
as an "expert" for the Java expert group to work on making
a Java daemon standard (JSR-096)!
I interviewed with Microsoft for a position there today. We’ll see how
that goes. This picture harks backs to the days of manyADs.com.
